Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Psych Algo (Education) application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

The App is an educational reference and study tool intended for licensed psychiatric prescribers (including psychiatric nurse practitioners, physicians, and physician assistants), residents, and students. It organizes general psychopharmacology concepts — including DSM-5-TR-informed diagnosis selection, differential diagnosis considerations, and medication treatment algorithms — for study and reference purposes.

3. Not Medical Advice

The App does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment, a complete patient evaluation, or consultation of current primary literature and prescribing information. Any information generated by the App must be independently verified before being applied to any real patient. The treating provider is solely responsible for all clinical decisions.

4. Eligibility and Permitted Use

The App is intended for use by licensed healthcare providers, trainees, and students for educational purposes. You agree to use the App only for lawful, educational, and reference purposes, and not to rely on it as the sole basis for any clinical decision.

5. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. Psychopharmacology guidance changes over time; the App may not reflect the most current prescribing information, black-box warnings, or guideline updates.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jasmin Flores shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to any clinical decision made in reliance on information contained in the App.

7. Intellectual Property

See the separate Intellectual Property Notice for details regarding ownership of App content and references to third-party publications.

8. Third-Party References

The App lists third-party publications (e.g., textbooks, guidelines) as recommended sources for further reading and verification. Listing a publication does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from its publisher or authors.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to: (a) redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or its content without permission; (b) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law; (c) use the App to represent to patients or the public that it constitutes medical advice or a regulatory-cleared clinical decision support tool; (d) remove or obscure any disclaimers, copyright notices, or attribution within the App.

10. Modifications

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

Access to the App may be suspended or terminated at any time for any violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

This is a template, not legal advice. Please have a licensed attorney review and customize these Terms — particularly the liability, jurisdiction, and regulatory sections — before publicly distributing the App, especially given its healthcare-adjacent subject matter.
