Overview
Psych Algo (Education) ("the App") is designed with a privacy-first approach: as of this version, the App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or patient information to any server. All information you enter (diagnosis selection, SUD screening responses, age, pregnancy/lactation status, allergies, current medications, medical history, failed medication trials) stays in the App's temporary memory on your device only, for the duration of your session. It is not saved to disk, not transmitted over the network, and is cleared when you close the App or start a new case.
No Patient Health Information (PHI) Storage
Because the App does not require or store identifying patient information (you are not prompted to enter patient names or other identifiers), and no data leaves your device, the App does not function as a system that stores or transmits PHI in its current form. If you customize the App to add patient identifiers, cloud storage, analytics, or crash reporting in the future, HIPAA and other health-data regulations may apply, and this Privacy Policy would need to be revised accordingly.
No Accounts, No Analytics (Current Version)
The App does not require account creation, login, or any personal identifiers. As of this version, no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs are integrated. If any are added later, this policy will be updated to disclose what is collected and why, consistent with Apple App Store and Google Play Store data-safety disclosure requirements.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for licensed healthcare providers, trainees, and students, and is not directed at children. It is not intended for use by individuals under 18.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
